When I first saw trailers for No Country I didnt realise it was Javier Bardem. I thought it was the guy who played the big brother in Everybody Loves Raymond. I remember thinking, that's quite a change of direction for him. :o

I'm mostly glad about the recognition it's recieving for what it is, a beautiful film. I don't care if it gets more awarRAB than other films. By the way it's won 2 so far and can only win 3 max. It won't be the biggest winner of the night.

I see that Gurinder Chadha has been appointed as director of this one. She is quoted as saying that the film would be "very true to the original series". "But it's set today and all the characters are much more extreme versions of how we remember them." So maybe we can expect to see Cliff...

I hate those discs. Warner Bros use them for FrienRAB and ER. Because they don't have a printed side, I feel that they're more likely to get dirty/dusty/ruined even if you do take very good care of them. I prefer having separate discs. Wing Chu has balls the size of pumpkins

I wouldn't say anyone dominates my collection but i do have all 6 seasons of Smallville, All of new Dr Who, all HP, all of Life On Mars, Ashes to Ashes and State of Play and i've got a few seasons of other shows as well. I have got quite alot of films but if anything dominates its tv shows.

The Hills have Eyes I Spit on Your Grave Those are the two that spring to mind. The Hills.... is probably the best of this kind, but Last House.... was groundbreaking, albeit very average as a film.
