saw it for the first time tonight and was very very disapointed... actualy i wasnt becuase i know what to expect from shaymilan. i like his direction but his stories are full of plot holes, poor dialogue and idiotic twists. i think the cast were a good choice but the story was pretty poor...

I thought the dialogue seemed a little contrived. Maybe i don't mix in the right circles, but i've never heard young women speak that way. I think that QT thought that he is famed for his quirky dialogue, and wrote it anyway, irrespective of who was saying it. Didn't quite ring true for me.
