Sorry, no. Sprint is a CDMA carrier and your 8100 is a GSM device. GSM devices once unlocked can be used on any GSM carrier (AT&T, Rogers, ect)

I work for At&t and we don't have that ability in any of our phones, the best you can do is like I just tried with my Tilt to test your idea...I put my phone on speaker and used the phone's voice recorder and it picked it up well but there is no way to have it pick up without having it on...

Concerning the *288 codes, what does the space after the *288 mean? Is it the # key? I also tried dialing *288, then waiting for a prompt to dial 80, 99, or 00, but I got a "Call cannot be completed as dialed right after the *288.

It's very simple. First insert your memory card inyour phone so it can create the files. Then connect to you computer using the usb that comes with your phone. Right click start and go to explore. Go to you file that has you music. Highlight the song you want and click on edit, copy to folder...

Something I'd like to add to the OP concerning flashing. This is an alternative method to get MMS working on your Droid. It involves modifying a file on your computer, then adb pushing it to your phone. This'll cut out the need to modify APNs manually on the phone as this file, once pushed...

It may be because it was orginally an Alltel phone. The software is not the same as Verizon. Plus, the Motorola phones I have messed with on the Verizon network have been different than just about any of the other phones. You have to save the ringtone as a sound and then it will not accept...
