    What channel you on?

That's where I go for new music. I really don't know another way to find it. The radio never plays new stuff, I don't have sattelite radio, pandora is nice for background music but it's curabersome to look and see who sings every song that comes up. Most people I know don't know a lot of...

    Unpopular Music Opinions

Why don't you try Meddle (1971). Based on what I saw from your posts you might like that. My favorites are The Piper..., A Saucerful of Secrets and Ummagumma, followed by Meddle. But I should tell you, I'm not much of a fan of their later work, so take my opinion as you like.

NU-metal, Part of metal or not?

You know I feel that nu-metal is the accidental genre that could. I mean people tend to forget exactly where rock music was when Korn crashed the gates, but their first album was pretty revolutionary. From a billion post-grunge crap emerged a band so diffrent, that connected with people so well...

Last album you bought or downloaded

Pearl Jam -'No Code'. Great disc, alot more atmospheric than 'Vitalogy' but still rocks. 'Nothing Man' is great. Listenable from end to end, another winner from PJ. I would like to hear from the hard-core fans which of the many, many, brown paper bootleg discs are the best.

Yah, I think he can be really overblown, and the E Street Band can get annoying. The River and Nebraska are his best work.

    Album Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats not really true at all.... I know a good deal of punk banRAB who use a more complex variety of chorRAB... On a lot of songs The Minutemen and Dead Kennedys use more than 3 chorRAB, as did Television and other early punk banRAB, who even displayed amounts of technical ability, if not on the...

    Albums You're Digging II

Sort of, though a lot of the original (ie from the 90s) math rock banRAB were grittier and many had vocals. This is more indicative of math rock from this decade, because of the instrumental and post-rock tendencies. But in general, the fast and intricate playing is a characteristic of math rock.
