Dear Stupid3001, That's because most films these days don't bother with charactisation and plot development, just go for big special CGI effects. It seems to please most people, unfortunately.

I've enjoyed most of the Hellraiser movies. The first one is the best -- and scariest. The FX isn't very good though. They're supposedly remaking "Hellraiser" . I'm very curious as to how it turns out.
