    hot flashes without menopause?

For the sake of those who read these posts (and who don't post)I will say that men, women, and children of all ages can experience "hot flashes"...not just women of menopausal age. One condition in which "hot flashes" is a symptom is Lyme Disease. I might also mention that women who have been...

    Se7en

I had the 2 disc set and loaned it to a 'friend', sadly it never re-surfaces after asking many times, so I guess I will just have to buy it again. From what I saw of it, it is a brilliant film. My mum even went to see it at the cinema, and she's definitely not into that sort of film and she also...

Getting seriously sub standard DVD boxsets of TV series from companies like Warner

You should check out Randall & Hopkirk. Not as gritty as your Euston product but it's a long way from the usual glossy ITC series with US cast members and exotic locations. Much of it is set in London and the down on his luck Jeff Randall is a quite different "hero" to the likes of Simon...

    Indiana Jones on BBC1

Am I some kind of idiot in wondering how you get the HD channel version when I have an HD ready television or do you have to subscribe/pay for it... because it did look quite crap on my screen and a wobbling effect in parts... Had nothing to do and the weather is awful here, so sat watching it...

    District 9?

I thought it was great. The documentary/news report style worked very well at the start and was rather funny - and the allegorical nature of the film, basically like apartheid but with aliens was very clever. The ending was very powerful. Great film.

    Itchy Throat

I have the itchy ears and throat at night, along with itchy eyes. My day time allergy symptoms are watery eyes, runny nose, stuffy nose, and sneezing. Allergies are so fun. I alternate every couple of months between Zyrtec, Claritin, and Clarinex. I also take Singulair for my asthma, but it's...

Going through the IMDb top 250 list.

I've seen 226 of them at some time or other. The ones I'm missing are mainly foreign films because they haven't had the same exposure. Call me Mr Philistine! Of the US/UK films, the only ones I haven't seen are Shutter Island, Toy Story 3 (obviously), How to Train your Dragon, the 2nd & 3rd...
