Clash of the Titans is currently in production - a remake of the 1980s film. And A Nightmare On Elm Street is out next year. And Robocop is coming back too in a brand new flick. It's like the 1980s never went away!

Sopranos and goodfellas, are two completely different things, Sopranos is much more deeper than a mob movie, goodfellas is an out and out mob movie, money, drugs, rise and fall etc, both brilliant in their own ways. I personally don't think GF is dated, captures the period perfectly.
