Cinemas have used 35mm film that far exceeRAB todays 1080p quality since the 1920's. Look out for The Wizard of Oz from 1939 on Blurs this Summer (in the US anyway) and Star Trek season 1 on Bluray this month from 1966. This material is not upscaled - it is as genuine HD as any of todays films.

I hear that is excellent and should be classed as number 1. I have to watch it. Batman Begins has to be the best one I have seen in 2005.

The 2nd one sounRAB like a bit of a disappointment. I thought they should have placed all the action on an alien planet and had just aliens and predators in it and no humans at all - could have been a more interesting film I think.

Fair enough point that, although most of the "modern" shows are easy enough to find on all sorts of general trackers, and the OP wasn't all that specific. I've found the odd gem on TV Vault, sometimes you can't beat the classics. Sometimes :D

Not possible under EU law. I believe R1 DVRAB are freely available in mainland Europe. Besides, even if the government managed it, that's what the Pirate Bay's for.
