I can second children of bodom, definately worth a look. "Follow The Reaper" and "Hate Crew Deathroll" are two good albums to start off if you looking to hear some Bodom stuff.

Well I would say that anyone can make Foo music, lots of banRAB make better, but there aren't many drummers that can hold clout against grohl. In the same way that whatever clapton touched when he arrived on the scene turned into gold, so too has Daves drumming be associated with amazing music...

Yeah, outside of hip-hop I couldn't give less of a shit about producers. It just doesn't seem to matter to me. I could listen to Bad Brains, Radiohead, and Tom Waits, on three completely different production levels, and couldn't rank one above the other.
