Star Wars fans Lucas taking us for a ride?

A couple more years yet. Read an interview with GL today. It explained how the CW film came about - GL saw the first couple of episodes they had completed for the TV series and was so impressed he decided it was good enough quality to be made into a film. But rather than just join 3 episodes...

How would you rate the film Clerks?

I felt the same re: the B&W but it's so worth it, it's a great film. It's a cult classic, one of Kevin Smith's best. (Nothing beats Mallrats though!) I'd prob give it 8 or 9 I think! Can't wait for The Passion of.. :D

Confused about Harry Potter 3 - Spoliers.

I do agree with you, don't get me wrong. I just didn't see how she was portrayed as 'popular'. But I know what you mean, she wasnt portrayed as 'unpopular' either. As for the hair joke, ANY girl would do that! Doesnt it annoy anyone how they never actually make it clear that Gryfindor lose a...

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

To be honest, I don't care whether the film was faithful to what Adams wanted or not, the film was awful on its own merits. If this was Adams' idea, then that's his problem not ours. Still, I tend to believe that once Adams had died, it allowed Disney to divert itself away from what it saw as a...

"Critically acclaimed" films that you hated

Memento was an excellent film, really held my interest throughout. I did wonder what was going on in the first 15mins or so but after that I thought it a very clever film.

    Terminator: Salvation - surprised!

This movie appears to be a much bigger hit overseas than in the U.S. & Canada. While it's not considered a flop in the U.S. (it will make a nice sum at the end of its run), it is struggling a little at the box office - something no one expected from a "Terminator" film. I think I read that...

    Eddie Murphy films

I think EM is a genius - he is probaly one of the unsung hollywood greats that will be overlooked until they are either dead or too old. I hope he gets an oscar for his performance in the Dream Girls - I hear he's fantastic in the role

    Rotk:ee

I said the same 'ohhhh noooo, I'll never be able to watch it for the first time again' when I saw the stage production of the Lion King. I cried so much, but not as much ass when Sam carried Frodo up the hill. If I watch ROTK now when I'm feeling a little vulnerable I can still cry a lot. :)
