    This lunchtime I caught a film review section on Five's lunchtime news, the reviewer/critic wasn't too impressed either, and interestingly he likened this film to those of Morecambe & Wise and Cannon & Ball (and if any remember how bad those films were, you'll understand what he was on about).

    Sorry but your aspect ratio trick is anything but rare. Every widescreen tv has a ZOOM feature which is designed purely for non anamoprhic material like these dvd's. You switch to ZOOM and the tv will display the movie in its correct 16:9 ratio ,but of course as its not anamorphic the picture is...
