I am a huge POA book loyalist, and the film is very much "loosely" based on the book. Then again, OOTP was my least favourite book but I liked the film (Luna and Umbridge = yes yes yes!)

I think Christopher Lee was definately the most charismatic and probably the most ruthless. The best acted I felt was Yaphet Kotto as Kananga although I think that Yaphett Kotto is one of the most underrated actors of our time so I'm a bit biased.
