    Yeah cause they suck. They are actually compensating for lost revenue on their new cheaper calling plans, so they are getting their money back with the data charges, they claim that they are trying to get people to realize the full potential of their mobile device, sounds shady to me.

    yes you do, I have one and you have to have the android data plan, its worth it though, I have had this phone since it was released and I love it. Android is worth every penny.
