What did you expect at the end of a "U" rated film? If you want suspense (as you stated in your OP) then go and see any film rated 12A upwarRAB.

I understood that after #2 was released during the writers strike it was confirmed #3 and #4 was in the making. #3 is suppose to be Page 42 or whatever it is out of the book.

Are you sure you are not referring to the "original" DVRAB. They released the theatrical version of the films, as well as the "original" one. The films had to be cut down, for cinema showing (by about 40mins-1hr) they are selling the uncut one on DVD. Is this what you are referring to?
