Not true, I have a 32" Sony Bravia TV for watching Blu-Ray films and the picture quality is amazing. It might not match up to that of some larger TV's but the difference to DVD is clearly visible.

The Beatles sketch was excellent. Other than that, it was just another average TV sketch show.
