I enjoyed the first half but then it just got too silly for me to pay much attention. I felt it took too many directions. Action/Destruction movie, thriller, slight horror. The ending was just too silly and a fair few people in the audience at the cinema started laughing when the end credits...

It may be a thrush (yeast) infection in your throat. Best to see a doctor for proper diagnosis. Have you tried gargling with Listerine mouthwash? If it is bacterial infection Listerine may help. Mix water with Listerine to gargle.
