Is there such a thing as modern "acid rock"?

    Adrift (Open Water 2)

The film is quite bad, really got me annoyed and the characters just did my head in. All that water and fustration really gets to you. Nothing like open water, more like castaway.

Titanic was such a fantatsic movie...

What, so you think James Cameron wrote a love story and then thought "hmm this isn't quite working, I know, I'll set it on the Titanic and then we can have the ship sinking and that'll make it exciting"? No, the whole film is built around the sinking of the Titanic. Cameron wanted to make a film...

    Toy Story 3 Cancelled

Thank f*** for that. The 2 Toy Story films are about as perfect as films get. To do another one would probably not be as good and spoil the whole series. I think its great that Pixar sticks its neck out with each new film and creates new stories and characters. Well, except for Toy Story 2...

    Biggest Oscar mistakes

Peter O'Toole not winning an oscar. Also, echoing the support for Munich, and disbelief that Crash won such acclaim. One for this year: surprised Paul Dano wasn't nominated for There Will Be Blood, nor Gordon Pinsent for Away From Her. Yes, Javier Bardem will, rightfully, win, but Dano and...

Best use of a song or piece of music in a film.

It's Moby - God moving acroos the face of the water (or something) - great choice. Also, Adagio for strings in Platoon and at the end of the Elephant Man  The classical piece in Raging Bull also!
