    Adam Sandler

I thought 50 First Dates was rather sweet but that could have been more to do with Drew Barrymore than Sandler.

    Bright Star

I've just watched Elizabethtown. I was absolutely amazed to see Paul Schnieder with his normal US accent, having seen him play Charles Brown in Bright Star with a perfect (to my English ear) Scots accent. He even looked Scottish! (tartan suit helped, I guess)

    Sin City on BBC2 tonight

I didn't 'get' this film. I watched it a while ago, and because of the good reviews, i stuck with it. But i really didnt understand the big deal made of it. I thought it was boring to the extreme.

    Remakes,and sequels.

Don't you just hate it when people remake threaRAB or sequels to threaRAB. ;) Blair Witch won't have a sequel because the studio realises that the first one will lose the one thing it has - realism. If two separate groups went into the wooRAB, the second group knowing what happened to the...

    mtv movie awards cock up?

I thought the whole show was a cock up... Just how long did that Adam Sandler stuff go on for, for example? Really cringey. Well, I only really watched to see Johnny Depp and, on the bright side, he looked good. ;)

    Gangs of New york

The directing was a bit 'loose' which meant it went on too long for the story. And the ending was very poor. I thought it was excellent for the first hour then drifted.

    Post your favorite Country song

Google pulled it up as Brad Paisley, and it doesn't sound like a Toby Keith song to me, but Toby Keith songs are good too, but generally more about either our country or rougher women, or beer

    Indiana Jones IV

I've just finished reading this screenplay and all I can say is Lucas, what do you think you're playing at? The final version that they filmed was lacking in so many ways that to find out that they had a far better (and more coherent) script and decided not to use it sickens me. Yes, the...

Are there films that no matter how many times you watch them ...

Road Runner. I keep hoping that he will get crushed by the falling boulder, blown up by the huge stack of TNT, or killed by the speeding train. Surely they could do a remake where he gets killed. It's what we all want.

Films that you didn't think you'd like & you actually enjoyed it

Pride and Prejudice. I only took my girlfriend just to be nice and ended up quite enjoying it. I hate romantic films with an almost angry passion, but I guess I could see it as a film adaptation of a classic novel.
