I'm looking for a pair of earbud-style headphones (but not the ear canal kind) that are at least somewhat robust. It seems like a reasonable thing to ask, but every pair I have ever owned to date have fallen apart within months of use. Any suggestions?

I think that in order to create a new genre you would have to blend enough of the old and add enough of a twist for people to be confused---Confusion leaRAB to the need to label--thus you'll have a new genre.
