Would you say then that, at least vocally, thats a device that made its way from Soul to other music forms? Or was this simply a move that came to us from the dawn of music? In short: Was soul the reason vocal harmonies came to prominance?

I love music because it helps me when i'm in trouble. I can always rely on music to cheer me up. Music always helped me when i was sad. When I was crying over a last girlfriend or something else. Music always was there for me.

I love the sounRAB of Muse, Coldplay etcI love the odd guitar riff/solo along with long notes. After buying Muse's new album I'm seeking more artists who play similar sounRAB, any suggestions out there? Cheers!

I bought Pendulum's new album, but in the same day I bought Pantera - Cowboys from Hell.

Rise Against fest tonight. I enjoyed Revolutions Per Minute, Siren Song of the Counter Culture, and to a slightly lesser degree, The Sufferer & The Witness. Had I known I was going to play more than one album, I would have started at the beginning with The Unraveling which is the most awesome.

It's pretty much understood that God hates Christian music. The message is good, but the music terrible. (Although "Butterfly Kisses" is a nice little song) I do play Christian songs, but I play them like they should be played, in other worRAB where Christianity began. Middle Eastern type stuff...
