Was he really offered the role of Gandalf before McKellen was? I can't even imagine anyone else playing that role. I always presumed he was first choice because he's well-known to be a LOTR uberfan.

Hi, Has anyone seen this film before, i brought it on dvd about a year and a half ago and i absolutely loved it!!!! Did it even make it to the big screen because i dont recall it being there?? Anyway i just decided to talk about a really great film, so what do you think?

I was asked the other day why Shrek 1 isn't available on Blu Ray in this country. Shrek 2 is getting released to coincide with the new Shrek film. Does anyone know why the first one hasn't been released on Blut Ray in the UK? Oh and the worst Shrek is the Christmas special Shrek the Halls...

I know the film that everyone who has seen it has enjoyed it. It is my mums wedding, they all watched it after the event and wanted copies then my brother recorded over the top of it with saturday morning telly and its never been seen since. so technically this is the film that everyone loves...

If you take them for what they are i.e. a right load of old nonsense based on a video game, they are cracking entertainment.

I havent read beyond book 5, is book 7 very dark? Each story seems to deal with more mature themes so I can imagine a 15 or at least a 12A.

I'm probably going to ask the wife to get rescue dawn for me for my birthday. IMDB gave it a decent score too, and I have most of Bale's films. He's amazing in most things. He even made Reign of Fire bearable.

It's also dearer than Mailbox. Mailbox has a very good selection of movies, and it does include foreign language films Lovefilm, being run by Channel 4, also takes longer to get movies in.

i would NEVER pay to join a site. my history on the sites i do use is proof that im a good member and people who are inviting can use that as proof rather then money. i have donated to a few sites but i dont decide if im going to donate until i have seen the entire site and what it has to offer...
