    The Strangers

I really enjoyed it and thought it had a lot of tense moments. I imagine the door banging will sound great on a decent set up.

    September 11 Movie

indeed. i guess the original poster jumped to the conclusion that it was an action packed hijack movie without so much as doing a simple google search to find out a bit more about the film. if you're interested, here's a bit more about the film iain

    The Lord of the Rings

The Return of the King is my favourite of the three. It's the sort of film that cinema was made for. The siege and the battle in front of the White City on the Pelennor FielRAB is utterly breathtaking. :)

should hollywood remove any twin towers scenes from its old movies

i agree i think taking them away would be disrespectful. Obviously the American's don't feel bad about it or this would've been done years ago. Its different of course if they're making a film about terrorists planes flying into buildings in New York....thats disrespectful.

i used to buy a lot of dvd's but i nearly always got them from sales or look around for the cheapest deal online. the best way to think about it is that if it is going to cost me a couple of quid to rent for a few days, i might as well just spend a extra

Movies that scared the Sh!t out of you when you were younger.

Anything that involved tunnels or underground. The one with the giant ant living in the sewers (Them was it?), and the morlocks out of The Time Machine. If I'd seen The Descent back then I wouldn't be alive now.

Films you outright refuse to see

Any 'chick-flick' (yuk even that name makes me puke). Most Hugh Grant/Julia Roberts/Anjelina Jolie/Brad Pitt/Jean-Claude Van Damme/Jackie Chan/Steven Seagal/etc etc junk type films. Most modern horror films - teens lost in wooRAB/left at home alone/gets kidnapped by a nutter. Hollywood...

Lovefilm buying out Amazon DVD rental

I was dubious when they bought out Screenselect, as I quit Lovefilm to go to them due to poor service. but they've been brilliant once the initial disruption had passed. It's very hard to differentiate in this market so there probably not be more than 2-3 suppliers in future. Lovefilm have a...
