Glad you are OK. I agree, a bad master cylinder is probably the culprit, or maybe a leaking bango bolt- it does not take much air to screw the system up, so you might not get a noticable fluid leak. Or it may be a simple as something in the fluid blocking a tiny passage in the master cylinder...

Just put new d&d fat cat. Had v&h true duals. V&h dyno 97.88 torque, 73.63 hp d&d dyno 100.38 torque, 86.34 hp :d:d the fat cat reached the peak torque faster at lower rpm and stayed there longer. Will try to scan the charts and post. There was about 10,000 miles between the 2 dynos.

I bought a HD Tallboy seat and had the big fry pan passenger seat re-shaped by Duane Smith custom seats to the shape I sent him. Um, then I went nuts and had him recover it with some red stitching after adding his memory foam. Just another option as Tallboy seats are great starting points.

Brief update. The bike is back on its wheels at long last, with 150/80 tyre and narrow 70T pulley installed, floating disc on and 4-pot caliper fitted and bled. Bike now has 16 brake pistons! Next step is to fit a new belt to match.
