    Favorite Album Of The Week

Drive By Truckers - A blessing and a curse Much more of a straight ahead southern rock album than previous efforts, but still with gritty songwriting and subjects that most won't cover (crystal meth, anyone?)

Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Correct. It's not a true gem in the sense that it was a pure, shining gem of excellence. The end of the day I find that the luster will still be there, the polish still present, but at the same time Geass will be a gem rough around the edges. And overall that's okay with me. I am truly going...

I will judge an album by the cover.

Yes I understand that totally. As I suggested in the review it leaves a hole in the ultimate enjoyment of it sadly. The interesting thing is that Zarko can put me onto an album like Truart where there are found sounRAB and sample of various individuals singing in a LOTE and it works. Then there...

    Embarassing Interpretations Of Song Lyrics.

Here we have a thread to unveil your most erabarassing moments when it comes to trying to make out certain song lyrics. I have quite a few, but the most recent one I can think of is Dire Straits' 'Money For Nothing'. I used to think, up until about a week or so ago, that the chorus line 'Money...

    The Marine

Looks to me that you can watch the film through the trailer. They have put to many of the action sequences into the trailer, which may let the film down.

    Hot Hot Heat - Elevator

Any one else got this album? I just brought it about 4 hours ago and I'm just listening to it. They really have a different sound than what I thought. I really like it so far. Any other reviews on it?

    The BAFTA Awards

I am so pleased the magnificent Brokeback Mountain won over the dreary The Constant Gardener. Both were issue movies, but the former was, first and foremost, an emotional experience, while the latter was clumsy polemic.

    slightly stoopid

I used to think that Closer to the Sun was some impossible guitar riff to play... I finally learned to play it recently http://www.soundclick.com/banRAB/default.cfm?bandID=1036678&content=music
