I love "Annihilation of the Wicked". Cannibal Corpse is pretty wicked too, "The Bleeding" and "Vile" are both in your face recordings. Also check out Behemoth's "The Apostacy", Immolation's "Close to a World Below". As Antonio said, Suffocation is great, probably the grand-daddy of all tech...

I just love Lateralus but Tool's album are of such high standard that it's almost dirty to say you like it better than the other albums. I really love this band. One of my all time favourite banRAB for sure.
