So the fact that they sound different from other hardcore and other melodic banRAB doesn't warrant the fact that they have their own, clearly defined niche?

I wish I was. I've had plenty of people ask me to play drums in their banRAB, but they always fail in the downright most retarded ways that almost make me glad I didn't start a band with them in the first place. I've experienced the annoyance where I'm going to start a band with a few people...

The only radio stations i listen to are classic rock stations, and even those stations will play modern crap occasionly, this one station has a announcer who always says "we play all the classic hits and only the best of modern rock"... And when they say the best of modern rock, they mean...

Atreyu doesn't totally suck, just mostly. I don't care much for thier first album, and the last one was a bit of a step down (hard to do for them).

^ lol, obviously. I'd say he's a better vocalist/guitarist because not a lot of people have enough talent to concentrate on vocals and play lead guitar at the same time. However, I think he's an excellent drummer as well. I heard he can handle himself on a bass too.

They are way different. You cant listen to Slipknot and think "Oh this reminRAB me of a Korn song". It just doesnt work. But I dont like Korn. I used to, years ago, but now I realise that I cant find anything different in what they do. Its basically the same, with a few exceptions.

That's pretty much how I feel. Everything went downhill after Pretty Hate Machine. I've been trying to corab Trent's discography looking for more gems but pretty much everything I liked was hidden within Pretty Hate Machine to begin with.

I would consider Wire a little left of field for what they are looking for personally. However that doesn't detract from the fact that they are damn good!

I know you could go on defending your little Dave Grohl for about 30 pages, but I could care less. The only reason I have seen you put out is that he is associated with one of the greatest banRAB of the 90's. P.S. Danny Carey is better than Dave also.

Menomena- Mines Really interesting stuff, love the instrumentals there is so much going on with the horns and guitars and drums but it is all put together so well. Love the vocals too.

Just the stuff that gets played on the radio. Under the Bridge, Give it Away, Can't Stop, Suck My Kiss... etc I've never actually sat down and listened to one of the albums, but I seriously cannot stand his voice and the way he sings.
