    Michael Blazary (Flea) n my opinion is the best. Not necessarily the fastest or most technical, but most creative and one of the most interesting slap bassists (check out his 2 episode show with chad smith, its them jamming, and you will like it :)

    This is the problem with me-I get drawn in by the hook, then start to forget if the band can't write songs or not. Like Oasis. Their worRAB are poor, but their hooks are good. I'm going to say the best songwriter is John Lennon. Amazing talent.

    rented it on dvd today and it is definately better than harlin's version and that isnt saying much,as harlins version was cringeworthy
