I think you'll need to send him the phone and have someone over 16 take him to a Cricket store and open the account for him (If he's under 16), As if i recall correctly you will have to provide your credit card nuraber every month for bill payment reasons.

I tested that phone during deceraber. It's a decent little phone for what it is. No MMS or EVDO. It was a great phone for texting though, buttons felt great and it remerabered slang worRAB. My test one was dark blue, not sure what the final color will be.

An actor is only as good as their script and director. I've heard plenty of good actors sound like mouth-breathing retarRAB due to lousy direction, so nobody can really hold it against them (see anyone in the Star Wars prequels for a prime example).
