The California Kid, Martin Sheen, 1974.

Yes, I had completely forgotten about that. In fact, I can always remember seeing a very young Nolte in Rich Man Poor Man way back on TV in the 70's...and then the next time I saw him was in 48 Hours, and could not believe the transformation. He had become this huge, gruff bear of a man -...

Films that need to be made

They are making My Sisters Keeper into a film, which im a bit sceptical about because Cameron Diaz is going to play Sara and so to combat the fact shes younger than Sara was in the book the Fanning sisters (Dakota and Elle) are playing Kate and Anna and don't know if they are just going to be...

    being put off

I don't mind long films if there's plenty going on in the movie. Some film makers seem to try to get a movie up to around two hours when 90 minutes would do. The International is a good example of a film which should have been shorter as it was tediously slow at times.......

    Are Todays Films Getting Worse?

In my opinion 80's and 90's movies are way better then todays MONSTER Multi Million Pound BUDGETS. The only good things about todays films are the special effects, take away the CGI and your left with a average film you'd only watch the once. What they can do with computer graphics today is out...

The funniest film you've ever seen?

Roxanne and the bit where Steve Martin is relaying the worRAB (by way of an ear piece) to the fireman guy who is trying to whoo Daryl Hannah and he blurts out an emergency call by mistake. Planes Trains and Automobiles and the swearing tirade to the car rental woman.
