i think the number was between 6-15% had activation problems, not entirely bad really, im sure there is a % of doa's as well in general i think the issues are all engineering, and or network not product manufacturing defects or things of that nature

Are you sure you weren't trying to charge it over the pop port? the pop port won't recharge the thing, you gotta use the AC adaptor. -Kap

Didn't the first report of a broken strap turn out to be false? I though I heard that the guy had admitted cutting the strap after the fact. I have had my Wii for a little while now and I still have not figured out how anyone could have thrown it so hard that the strap just broke on it's own.
