Thanks so much for the response Kristina. I know that I don't have the perfect vocal technique, but I have taken voice lessons before and think my regular technique is not the biggest factor in them showing up.

Sorry, but i beg to differ. Plenty of films released this year from Jan-April that i can name which are better that Dump John! :p And i go to the cinema regularly. And it's got nothing to do with being a stereotypical male. You just have very bad taste! :D

I will confess that I haven't seen nearly enough pre-70's movies. Part of the reason why is that when I watch a respected classic, more often that not I am disappointed. I often find the acting style much broader and / or melodramatic than contemporary, which can be a huge barrier.

Agreed. They are reaching new levels of innovation in American film, aren't they? They've worked out they are crap at remaking the japanese films, so now they are remaking their own. :confused:
It's rubbish. Watched to 50 minutes suspecting what the plot would reveal (at around 50 minutes it confirmed it).
