I think it was somehow, but I'm not sure exactly how it tied in. I seem to remember an episode where the Dino Megatron watched a message they had discovered from the original Megatron. Also, it was Optimus Primal, rather than Optimus Prime like the original series.

I agree 100%. Terrific film and that long shot towarRAB the end was just amazing, as was the attention to detail throughout. So atmospheric - it is a film that really gets under your skin.

As earlier, revolutionary for its time, but it is still not one of the films that draws me in each time it is on. That accolade goes to epics like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Metropolis, and Life of Brian.
