Yea, If you listen to 'show me how to live' and 'cochise', the backing music is brilliant, but then the voice sorta dampens it a bit. I do like those songs but its clear that someone with a better voice could have been there. (My opinion)

You could probably put some of The Deceraberists on there. They have some pretty epic stories with their music, most of the time. Mariner's Revenge Song is my favorite of theirs as far as stories goes.

When I listen to the same album over and over again the way it was intended to be listened to, I can appreciate the artist's vision and how they put it into practice. But sometimes I feel like I'm taking the music more seriously then it was intended, which makes me feel old.
