Gainax's specialty is original work+mecha. Shikabane is neither, unfortunately and that's really where its fault lie. The ending could've been better (okay a lot better....) but I've expected it for quite some time now. Overall, the show was fun but I won't be re-watching it anytime soon.

Oceanic Is their best album. I would classify Isis to be a Post-Doom band, which is a mixture of post-rock and doom metal.

The original Japanese version of Dragon Ball Z technically isn't a dub. FUNImation did the original US dub of DBZ up until the Ginyu Force episodes, after which Ocean took over, IIRC.

Theres more to being a guitar god than TS, and Batio isnt THAT skilled either. Yeah he plays very damn fast, and theres more to instrumental ability than speed, Batio lacks versatility, and he cant play rhtyhm worth a sh*t. People like Ry Cooder, Shawn Lane and Allan HolRABworth school him...
