I held a similar view on first viewing. It's a definite grower though. Mind you most Oscar winners are way overrated. Films you're supposed to like as opposed to films you actually like.

Looks awful. The Piranha's just look like cartoons pasted in. Couldn't they at least have put some effort into making them look real. ReminRAB me of the sharks in that Deep Blue Sea film. Isn't this the film with Kelly Brook in it and I think she gets killed by them. Might be worth a watch...

IMO, the original Dawn of the Dead is better than the remake, although the remake is quite good. Shaun of the Dead is brilliant.
