Saw a trailer the other week. Looks great.

I was going to mention the same film. Up until I saw "Henry - Portrait of a Serial Killer"..."Blue Velvet" was probably the film that was the most unsettling to me. There were one or two scenes in that film which did shock me. Overall, the surreal, weird atmosphere is sort of shocking enough...

There's no argument that tupac wasn't the greatest rapper ever. Hip Hop today doesn't have any meaning, all rappers rap about stupid bullshit that no one cares about. Naz, Jay Z and eminem are the only exceptions and they all have been around for ever

Hollywood just doesn't have the guts to remain true to the story, and kill off the hero at the end--especially in the manner in which he died, in the original. Nasty stuff--can't do that to a big star like Nic Cage.

Yeah the broadcasters don't have to use the BBFC versions. So it was probably the original cut. If you are after Big uncut on DVD then you have to order from somewhere like France or Germany, there's an uncut US version but it's non-anamorphic apparently.
