I think spiidey is asking how does the current cinema pictures compare to a htdv picture we now have at home.

'About a boy' is very good though, although like you say I wouldn't call them the best British films. but its down to personal opinion I think (Hence Dog Soldiers on my list :o )

One of the main reason I am looking forward to this is because it will be the first time I'll be able to see the films in their orignal glory how everybody who sat there in 1977 etc etc saw them.
