    UK vs USA movies

Pan's Labyrinth is the name of the film you are looking for. The issue is that people go to cinemas for different reasons, after a hard week at work they do not necessarily want to watch some story wallowing on depression or whatever. Theres also the factor of easy access to films through...

    Freddie Starr Live/Fans?!

I remember 'The Squeeze.' You're right, Freddie puts in an excellent performance. He did some straight acting in the 90's as well in a Lynda LaPlante ITV drama, I recall, playing a drug baron, and got excellent reviews for that also. Shame he doesn't do more acting.

    3W and Domplayer fakes

Before downloading any big video file (or any software at all), right-click the item in the search results and select the Bitzi report option. In LimeWire, that's in a submenu called Advanced. Most of the bad stuff on P2P has been catalogued on Bitzi and virtually all of the good files.

Classic/Iconic/Art films you think are rubbish

I had a low opinion of this film before I saw it, and I avoided it like the plague when it was everyones 'omg amazing' film. I think I saw it 6 years after and I was 'omg that's good', because I had forgotton the hype and just watched it expecting a plain horror film. I think the hype can ruin...

    A friend told me...

Usenet is a lot older than torrents and have had a lot less problems for end users than other filesharing means. If you have a couple of bucks to spend each month, its a much easier way to get what you want. I think the fact that you're not using upstream, generally speaking, means your ISP...

    Norman Wisdom BBC Tribute

The only point I was making about the 20 million was to make clear how popular the show was for the seventies audience. Whats considered success these days can just amount to 5 or 6 million in alot of cases. I grew up with it and am a huge fan and CrawforRAB interpretation is unique, but I just...

    Happy Birthday BitmeTV

You want... one terabyte of gigabytes? That is one hell of a lot of upload... Theoretically the lack of bonus upload/freeleech keeps users seeding and increases the retention of the files. At the same time however, it sure makes the site a giant pain in the ass to seed at :dabs:.

mid-size music trackers (not what.cd and waffles)

Stmusic in terms of management is a superior to what.cd. Although there is alot more content on what.cd, but at the cost of being harassed constantly. If you really want to get into the site, take the interview. It's not really "valuable" at all, every tracker you have listed is top-notch...

Did You Know There's An OpenSource Alternative Client?

 Paranoid much? Dude I get that this is your own personal view but to me it sounds like you are kind of pushing your overly paranoid position down our throats a bit. You still haven't shown why we should trust the Sourceforge boys more than the utorrent gang. Sheep you say. Now that's...
