I enjoyed War Of The WorlRAB, actually, and I wouldn't call myself a Tom Cruise fan. Worth a watch, IMO :)

what is everyones favourite horror film ?

Im suprised how many people picked Scream, I wouldn't class it as a genuine horror flick: its content is more toungue and cheek with a few loud bangs to make the girlfriend jump. Watching Zombie Flesh Eaters when your 12 years old, now thats horror.

    X-Men 3

By which time the Young X-Men will look quite old, certainly mature enough to replace the missing cast. The rumoured 'Young X-Men' or 'Generation X' movie would probably feature brand new teenagers as opposed to people like Kitty Pryde and Iceman. I just really hope Kea Wong is involved with...

    Batman Begins

Saw it yesterday. Not bad at all. A more believeable Batman, you felt the batcave was not a totally fantastical place, it all looked like it could work. The batmobile was nothing like we've seen before but certainly did the job and excitingly realistically so (no stupid going vertical up sides...

How can C4 show slumdog millionaire so soon?

I agree that it was inappropriate to use the NOTW quote in the way they did. The point I was trying to make was that it was no reflection on the actual quality of Danny Boyle's (and Loveleen Tandan's) film. It's a case where the film was hyped but it actually merited the hype - just not the hype...

Movies you feel that you should have seen by now.

Don't do it ! ;) If you didn't like the first two this certainly won't redeem them for you. Saw it in the cinema, bored me to tears. Got it for Christmas on dvd so decided to give it another chance last night. It didn't change my mind and I turned it off after an hour still totally non-plussed...

Cliff on Loose Women right now

I think hes a pretty cool guy TBH. He looks incredible for 70 and many people are still happy to pay to watch and listen to him. Good luck to him.

Daniel Craig is the new Bond

I think the franchise has to change to survive. Brosnan did a fantastic job in the role but the character was starting to stagnate - He's been the same for 40 years. And Die Another Day made many bad mistakes which seriously undermined the franchise. Invisible cars and CG BonRAB surfing tsunamis...

Child Genius 5 Years Later: Channel 4 - Anyone watching?

I must admit that I raised an eyebrow when kierans parents said he was buying a house as an investment. It depenRAB how it is done though, they did say that they were buying the house outright with his money but then renting it from him so hopefully it's all done via a solicitor and above board...
