When I was 13 or 14, I discovered the strange world of Acid Bath. Then came Slayer. Both of whom I rarely listen to anymore, but I still enjoy the metal of today like Gojira, Opeth, BTBAM, Type of Negative, Dream Theater, Cradle and so on.

Not a fan of goth i see. :( Im not a goth person myself but i do love The Cure and Joy Division...I like some Shiouxie & The Banshees and Bauhaus...And some of HIMs stuff.

I keep meaning to check out Gallagher as he has a real cult following and plenty of respect. There is no excuse reallly. Where is the best place to start?

I don't know what method of scrobbling you use, but my computer automatically scrobbles anything played in iTunes. So I have to keep deleting my little sister's plays.
