Really, it's not. The selftitled is generally considered their weakest effort, and to declare any song off it the best song they're ever done ("by far") is kind of insulting to the rest of their output, not to mention ignorant. What's even more surprising is that it comes from someone who thinks...
I agree with you about D. Boon, he's definitely underrated. For Frusciante I mostly regard him for his solo work. That's where I feel his creativity and playing really shine.
Honestly, at first I was like, "OMG ALBUMOFTHEYEARLOLOLOL", but now that I've gone over it a couple a times, Define the Great Line was a better album. But at least Lost has good stuff on it. Coming Down is Calming Down, anyone?

I'd bet fairly big money they'll both go solo, and bigger money they'll be absolute cack. I doubt a Noel solo album would be the most exciting prospect and it's been said he's far more capable than Liam.
