Russell is apparently great in the film. Most reviews said he steals the show. Give him a second chance :) 8.4 on IMDb and 87% on RT.

Glad to see others appreciated and understood it aswell, I dont care what anyone says the film terrifies me. Also I dont get seasick at all from the wobbly camera, that all adRAB to the suspense and realism in my opinion.

They do fit into the toaster easier than VHS, mind. I am always amazed by the difference in quality between DVD and VHS. If I go back to an old video (less often now, as I've replaced most) the picture and sound quality is so much poorer.

I thought it was just OK - loved the fact that they used to original music but seemed too long - be interesting to see if they do a follow up I think it won't maintain it's box office figures for very long

meh. The original was only good becuase it was made in the age of the slasher. They don't know how to do that kind of horror movie nowadays. horror movies today have evolved. taking an old horror movie like this and trying to make it work in the modern age, rarely works. Scream was an exception...

yes I think that ad is really good. Really puts the point across in a humorous way as you say. But I dont think it makes much difference either.
