Timothy Dalton was one of the best and closest to how Bond was in the books. As for Brosnan, decent Bond, but Die Another Day was just terrible.

Although he's appeared in a lot of films, I can't see Alan Rickman as anyone else other than Hans Gruber.

The only other one I would add, though perhaps an acquired taste, is 'The Cell'. If nothing else some of the visuals are stunning. I found even J-Lo was passable in this.
