    Looking for Eric

In fairness to the reviewer, they do say as close as Ken can get to a feel good film!! Oh and they're probably not a footie fan either! Silly soRAB!

    Perfect Stranger

Watched Bruce Willis's latest movie last night. I was pleasantly surprised and there is a twist at the end that actually took me by surprise too! Usually I can spot them, but this one was well concealed. Anyone seen it yet? What did you think?

    Animal cruelty in films

no aminals are actully killed as it as actually a film, and this technique is used to express and emphasize a character, for example look 'The Bunny Boiler'

    Milk

I thought it was good. Not great, just good. Penn was superb and didn't resort to a stereotypical portrayal of a gay man. But overall something was missing. I felt no emotional connection with the characters and ultimately who was Harvey Milk?? In the UK very people would have known who he was...

Leonardo DiCaprio ~ The Aviator ~ A Martin Scorsese Picture

Very true - although I still (controversially) contest that Goodfellas was a better film than Raging Bull. I'll certainly check it out, although it'll probably be later rather than sooner (I hate going to the cinema at this time of the year - too many young kiRAB and old folk talking).

    Anchorman 2

It was Jack Black. We watched it again the other night. The first time we saw it we weren't that fussed with it, very over rated. This time, having seen alot more Will Ferrel films I found it funnier than the first time I saw it. But still can't help feeling that it is hugely over rated...

    Marilyn Monroe films

I now have every film Marilyn has appeared in that has been released on DVD. She was a fabulous actress in some films. Niagara, Don't Bother to knock are both thrillers and she shines in them. Don't Bother To Knock is her best acting imo. She plays a psycho baby sitter and the film was well...

    A Sapranos film

I'd leave it as it is tbh. I know the ending didn't go down well with most people, but i liked the ambiguous nature of it and how it makes you wonder what really happened. Besides, most, if not all of the storylines were wrapped up, so a movie would have to be standalone and i just don't think...

    Saddest tearjecker of all time....

You mean the one when the other bloke with the ammo round is neck is sitting on the otherside of the door crying? I can't watch that scene because I want to go into the film and punch the guy for not getting up and doing his fellow soldier the favour of blowing the nazis brains out.

    UGC/Cineworld unlimited card- Inside knowledge?

I love my UGC card and have had it for years. It means you get to see movies you would not usually go see due to the price, and you only have to see a few movies a month to pay the fee. I have been terrible lately though as I have noot been much this year due to personaly stuff..but I must get...
