Let me tell you my point of view. Your proposals seems to me too complicated to implement in the Gnutella network and brings little improvement (IMHO). I think the worst thing about the network is the traffic needed to stay connected (pings/pongs), and the traffic that all queries generate...

eMule is great. Good speeds, stable and it doesn't suffer as much from things like fake / mislabeled files, screechy MP3's, viruses that are common on the FT network. However if its not for you, you could also try Overnet which has access to the emule network and address some of the speed...

People get bored when they have to keep guessing. That format doesn't work because it get's boring. It would be more interesting if the characters in the show were kept guessing but the audience was clued in so that we watch how the characters work it out. And perhaps leave in a few surprise...
