Mine started to peel as well, so I peeled them off and reattached them with double-stick tape (the thick type). They haven't moved since. I like the looks of the OEM floorboards, and my wife likes them much better than the pegs.

Yeah, I got the OE hard bags, you have to remove two bolts inside to remove the bags. You "can" fashion your own quick release system. I can't even get to my helmet lock, it is under the bags, so it's worthless to me.

I am using it right now, at 230.4 kbps on a Windows XP Media Center OS, HP Pavilion dv2120us Entertainment Notebook PC. I've never had a problem since posting the original post on this thread. Guess I'm just lucky.
