    i have a 1994 chevy pickup with a 4.3 v-6 engine.going down the highway it just

    cuts off.? i pull off the road ,and it allways starts right back up.the fuel filter is ok.it might go several days before it does this agin.does anyone know what the problem is ?

    The timing marks are usually located on the pulley or the harmonic balancer attached to the crankshaft. The crankshaft pulley/balancer is located on the front of the engine and the lowest pulley in the center of the engine.

    The power steering pump might be on it's way out. They sometimes will still pump enough fluid to quiet the pump/gears after awhile.
