    80s & 90s Classics

I'm looking for some good films, things like the Shawshank Redemption, Schindlers List, the kind that were very popular without being too tacky/cheesy (e.g. Home alone). Can be any genre. The reason is that I found out my other half hasn't seen a lot of films from this period, only newer ones...

    Would you pirate if...?

they could make dvRAB a fraction of the price, encouraging more people to shell out for them. hell, even offer 'movie only' versions if they whine about the costs of dvd, giving people the choice of buying the more expensive version with stuff they'll only ever watch once.

    Food in cinemas

I usually don't. I try not to drink much during the day or during the film just incase I need the loo. I hate having to get up to go to the loo while everyone is watching a film. If I do, I take my own food/drink in most of the time.

    Brick (Film 4)

I started watching this film last night and I thought it was complete rubbish. Why is it rated so highly? I appreciate the fact that it was made on a small budget but I found it completely unwatchable. I couldn't understand or hear what any of the characters were saying because they were either...

    Scream Music

Does anybody know if the music used in the Scream films has a name and if its available anywhere? It's usually used in the trailers for the films, but also in some scenes in the films. It was also used for the credits on the documentary on Channel 4 in 2000 - Scream and Scream Again: History of...

Why do Hollywood keep screwing up remakes

I think I read somwehere that The Blob is being made for the third time. As far as I know the 50's version was an original idea, so this will be the second remake. I could see why someone might want to remake a 50's film in the 80's; SFX had improved, it could be made more gory (it was after all...
