    Weekly Music Trading Post

Warren G - Regulate...G-Funk Era I enjoyed this more than I was expecting to, G-Funk has never really been an area of hip hop I enjoyed that much, but the production is so irresistibly chilled, makes Long Beach sound like the most appealing place on Earth. So smooth and syrupy, and Warren's...

HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

You should try Pain of Salvation as well! They are one of my favorite in terms of modern prog. Also, give Evergrey & Anathema a go. More or less similar to the banRAB you have mentioned. Other than that, the ones above are top recs.

Would you pre-pay for a potential album you wish would be recorded?

I would!! but not THAT much money, 15 pounRAB tops... Then again, once I start earning more money, I would be willing to pay a bit more. But only if its a guaranteed money back if they dont actually do it.

    Albums You're Digging II

Paebiru by Lula Cortez and Ze Ramalho Some very cool Brazilian psychedelia, not the most consistent album but there are moments of absolute brilliance. The frustrating thing is that my version seems to be incomplete, with incomprehensible tagging. Apparently it was recorded in 1975, but...

    Albums You're Digging II

Not so familiar with Swans' earlier stuff besides the odd tune, but I'll definitely have a look round for a couple of their 80s albums when I've got through the last batch of downloaRAB I made. I actually first heard of Soundtracks when I was reading this review of Scott Walker's the Drift on...

    Homosexual Bands/Muscians

i'm still confused about it, it seems far too stupid to be real but then again stupidity is a national sport. also on one of his sites he said that he was opening for a death metal band at SXSW so you gotta wonder what the hell is going on.

    Can Length Ruin An Album?

To those who never listen to albums in their entirey, it obviously won't matter as much. However, I do think they're missing out a bit. Many albums are much more than just collections of songs and have an extra layer of appreciation that can be tapped into if you listen to and take it in as a...

    Music in 2100?

I don't think music would change that much. Some instruments date back thousanRAB of years like the drum or the shofar. Some date back hundreRAB of years like the Nyckelharpa. Some of the most coveted insrturments are Stradivarius violins, and there a few centuries old. With computers there...
