I was expecting Moulin Rouge to be a dreary, cringeworthy film with nothing to distinguish it from the average romance, but when I was finally persuaded to watch it I thought it was very funny and emotional. :)

140 minutes :eek: No thank you. What is with Ed Norton anyway? He's a fine actor but why does he seem to want to take control of his projects when he is the actor not the director. Why doesn't he direct if he's so bothered :rolleyes: I'm looking forward to it.

I must admit, I loved The Butterfly Effect, one of the best films I have ever seen. I think the best film endings for me are: Grease, Shawshank Redemption and Dirty Dancing. Also, the girly part of me loves the end of Dumbo and The Little Mermaid (sorry).

A fun film to watch although it lacks historical depth. The transexual asians made me laugh. I doubt they were about in those days. It would have been more believable if they were eunuchs.

There's a couple in Requiem for a dream that're really disturbing. Drum roll..........Irreversible "rape scene". Just thought i'd get that one in. It's DISTURBING.
